Piercing for Minors
Florida does allows minors to be pierced
however Florida Law states a notarized consent form is required REGARDLESS of if the parent/legal guardian is present.
This means that even if you are the parent and you are bringing your child just for an ear piercing you MUST have that form. THIS IS THE LAW!
Blank copies are available at the studio or at the link below.
WE DO NOT HAVE A NOTARY ON STAFF
The guardian listed on the form MUST be present at the time of piercing and have their government issued ID.
APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL MINORS BEING PIERCED.
Must call to set up to appointment.
Please call the studio for additional questions.
General Age Requirements:
8 years and up - Lobes
13 years and up - Ear Cartilage/Helix
15 years and up - Nostril, Septum, Conch, Multiple Helix, Navel

For children 11 and up, you are okay to book online for piercings.
For children 10 and under (or older if they are particularly nervous) appointments are recommended for a consultation 24 hours or more before the piercing appointment. This allows us to go over any questions you or the child may have and generally helps with excess nerves.
